Oxo tower

We’re on the south bank of the Thames in a really, really vibrant area in between some of London’s most notable attractions, in between the London eye and the millennium bridge. The Oxo tower itself has a lot to offer. We’ve got contemporary design shops on the first and second floor, people who use the shops as their work shops. We’ve got, on the top floor, the eight floor, the Harvey Nicholls restaurant. You can either dine in our restaurant, modern European fine dining, or you can dine in the brasserie, much more robust food, regional dishes given an Oxo twist, Mediterranean, pacific rim, influences as far away as north Africa.

We like to think of our food as world food, we’re not pigeon holed by any particular style or region. At the moment we have a heavily European influenced rib-eye dish that’s char grilled, and we serve that on a truffled mash potato. We’re also using pork belly that we slowly braise. We have a sea bass dish at the moment which is fried, we serve that with winter bean cassoulet.

Our bar offers delicious bar snacks, open all day, from 11 until 10 at night.

The Mohijto is in the naughties what the cosmopolitan was in the nineties. We don’t actually have it on our list because it’s just so popular people just ask for it. A mixture of rum, mint, lime, and sugar. We’ve got different flavours in our list, a Bellini, raspberry or fizz, which is a champagne cocktail. I’d say to people, must come Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Our resident singer is Caroline Loftus who has been with us for ten years and is fabulous.

I perform here a couple of times a week and sometimes on the weekend during the day, but on the other nights of the week we have many, many fabulous London based musicians but from all over the world. Different nights depending on the mood in the restaurant we have different performances, but it really will enhance the evening.

I would say come to us for the food, for the service, for the location and because there’s so much to do after you’ve had dinner or lunch with us. It’s not just about coming here to us it’s about all the things you can do around us.
