Last Days of Decadence

Tom Gravett – Owner

Tom Gravett:

The Last days of Decadence is our new nightclub / restaurant / tea room in Shoreditch, on Shoreditch high street.

VO:

Sure we’re in the midst of a credit crunch right now but if you do want to get out there and spend some of your hard earned cash why not do it in opulence, style and 1920’s extravagance?

Tom Gravett:

We wanted to put big stained glass windows on the front of the building so it made sense to do the whole thing in art-deco. The place definitely lends itself to something a little more retro, it lends itself to burlesque, it lends itself to live music, jazz.

We wanted to do something a little more decadent, so you can actually come down here and have a nice drink whilst being entertained.

You’ve got to come and check it out because you’ve got to try our alcoholic teas for a start, “Cockteas”, they’re kind of our signature drink along with anything you’d expect to find in a normal bar.

This is where the parties are all happening, this is where all the art’s happening, it’s just the best place in London at them moment.

VO:

The Last Days of Decadence is now open for business in East London. Entertainment varies by the night and the nearest stations are Old Street and Liverpool Street
