Puppets reminiscent of Sesame Street combined with the unsavoury humour of South Park make this off-the-wall musical a hilarious show so how do the creators think it’s going down with audiences in the Capital?

They’re liking the show more because they’re smarter, and more dirty and filthy minded than American audiences, and better looking, right.

 

When you’re writing it they say that you’re crazy, don’t do it, but when you put it in front of people they like it in spite of themselves

And it’s a disparity between what a show looks like and what the show is saying and these puppets are really terrific and well designed.  It’s also what they’re saying, what kind of issues we’re dealing with.

 

Well it’s just real life I suppose.  That’s all I have to say.

Creating an award-winning puppet show for adults is no mean feat, so what is it that makes this show so appealing?

There’s a line in one of the songs that says you laugh because it’s based on truths.

 

We tackle issues that are very true and very rude I suppose

 

I suppose we make people smile cos we can do this argh!
