Tom Jenkins
Senior Commercial Manager
Prior to joining Visit London, Tom has had a career spanning broadcasting, advertising and most recently as head of marketing and communications for ParalympicsGB. An extensive knowledge of the Games means that he is well placed to assist commercial partners to maximise the City's potential over the next few years.
A keen sportsman who played rugby for too many years, Tom discovered the delights of theatre late in life. Now an avid theatre goer, he's often found in Union Theatre, Waterloo - propping up the bar!
Lisa Williams
Senior Client Services Manager
Lisa joined Visit London in September 2007, before that she worked for 4 years as an Account Manager in both the Education and Expedition sectors. She holds a BSc (Honours)in Sports, Exercise and Coaching Science and has worked with England Netball Team, GB Wheelchair Basketball team and an Olympic Weightlifter.
Aly Garvey
Client Services Manager
Aly joined Visit London having worked as the Client Services Manager for Electric Airwaves, a media company in the West End. She handled a range of high profile and FTSE 100 clients and played a key role in expanding the business. After taking some time to live and travel abroad and a brief stint at Saatchi & Saatchi, Aly found her way to Visit London where she has been able to combine her passion for client services with London itself.
Aly loves the views of London from Greenwich Park and the fabulous array of bars that scatter Soho.
Angela White
Client Services Manager
Angela joined Visit London in May 2008, having previously been in the hotel industry for over 10 years, working for some of the industry’s biggest names. Angela now focuses on creating, building and optimising relationships with all designated partners and sectors within the Commercial Partnership team.
Angela loves to travel, is a rock chick at heart, and her favourite day out in London is a trip to Hampstead, with its beautiful boutiques, stunning park and stately homes.
Jessica Rees
Partnership Marketing Manager
Jess started her career in tourism at the tender age of 15, working as an Information Assistant at a tourist office in Dorset. She spent 6 years happily helping tourists before graduating with a first-class degree in English Literature and Cultural Criticism. Jess moved to London to work as a copywriter for QVC The Shopping Channel, but soon found her way back into the world of tourism, spending three years marketing Tower Bridge Exhibition and organising family and corporate events inside the London icon. After obtaining her Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Diploma, Jess joined Visit London to organise The 2008 Visit London Awards at the Royal Albert Hall.
Her career highlight is supping Champagne with Sir Michael and Shakira Caine at the Awards.
Stepan Bedelian
Business Development Manager
Stepan started his career in the financial services sector with Aviva, looking after insurance and investment scheme business with client financial institutions like Lloyds TSB, Nationwide and Brittania Building Society.
After 3 years with Aviva and 5 years with Sterling Insurance Group as a Senior Account Manager he switched sectors to International Property Sales and Consultancy. As a Marketing and Account Director Stepan looked after developments in the US, Spain, Italy and Scotland.
Stepan joined Visit London's New Business team in March 2008. He is passionate about London and being a Londoner and is very proud of the city he was born in and has lived in all his life.
Naomi George
Visitor Services Advisor
Naomi joined Visit London in May 2008 to set up an official complaints service for domestic and international visitors to London. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Masters in Communication, and has studied and worked in India and Sydney. Prior to working at Visit London she was with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where she co-ordinated meeting requests for PWC staff and clients. Before moving to London Naomi worked in Bangalore, India with the Royal Orchid hotel as group head and was in charge of 4 hotels in the city.
Naomi loves London’s flamboyance, history and multicultural buzz, and it’s her optimistic wish that every visitor experiences the city’s charisma and discovers the calorific pleasures of bacon butties and afternoon cream teas!
